The house is located next to another home which was also destroyed by arson last week, and where the body of a convicted criminal was found two weeks ago.

The two houses were completely gutted in the fires and were not occupied at the time.

No injuries were reported.

An arson attack occurred at the adjoining property on Sunday, 12 November, where the body of convicted burglar Ger Curtin was discovered in the early hours of Saturday, 4 November.

A 44-year-old man is before the courts charged in connection with Mr Curtin's death.
