The first images from director Guy Ritchie's new drama series for Netflix have been released.

The series, called The Gentlemen, is coming to the streaming platform in 2024.

It is inspired by Ritchie's 2019 comedy action film of the same name, and is set in the same world but features entirely different characters.

The Gentlemen sees lead character Eddie Horniman (Theo James) unexpectedly inherit his father’s sizeable country estate - only to discover it’s part of a cannabis empire.

A host of unsavoury characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game, but begins to find a taste for crime himself.

The feature film, released in 2019, grossed over €105 million at the worldwide box office and starred Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam and Colin Farrell.
