Waterford camogie manager Seán Power is stepping down three months after guiding the Déise to their first All-Ireland final appearance since 1945.

Power is leaving the role for family reasons, after just one year in charge. He took over from Derek Lyons for 2023.

Waterford will announce a successor and new management team next week.

Power led the county to a famous one-point win over Tipperary in the All-Ireland semi-final at UPMC Nowlan Park in July, before they suffered a heavy 5-13 to 0-09 loss to Cork in the decider.

Weeks after the final, Matthew Twomey brought the curtain down on his own tenure as Cork manager.
