A street trader, played by Fran Dempsey outside the James Joyce Museum in Sandycove, Dublin announces his wares in an effort to drum up trade.

Among the items on offer are James Joyce's genuine glasses, and the pens that he used to write the book 'Useless'. Mike Murphy, playing a gullible American tourist takes the lot, including the pram in which James Joyce was born, in exchange for his cameras.
