This week's Tune Of The Week is Travel Size by Rachael Lavelle - watch the video, directed by Anna Heisterkamp above.

Rachael is a Dublin-born singer and composer who merges classical and contemporary influences, blending electronic soundscapes with spoken word and acrobatic vocals.

She has collaborated with a wide range of ensembles and artists, from Crash Ensemble to Saint Sister, and appeared as a vocalist on Villagers' Fever Dreams album.

On Travel Size, Rachael comments: "When I wrote this, I wished for nothing more than to travel to Italy and eat large quantities of pasta and drink Aperol Spritz. 'Travel Size' is about wanting to leave but not being able to. Being here and imagining that you were there. Wanting to be changed for the better, by a time or a place… but wherever you go, there you are."

The release of Travel Size comes aghead of her eagerly anticipated debut album Big Dreams, released on November 10th, and a nationwide tour that runs until December - find out more here, and listen to this week's Radio 1 Reccomends playlist below, via Spotify:
